Environment and Transport Partnership
The Environment and Transport Partnership is the new name for the former Planning and Sustainability Partnership set up in 2007. The Partnership's overall purpose is to ensure that all agencies within the Borough, whether they be statutory, private or voluntary, work together to help maintain and improve the quality of the natural and built environment in Fareham, tackle climate change and reduce traffic congestion. To do this the Partnership will identify local issues and priorities, ensure that these become part of a Sustainable Community Strategy and ensure that the targets and priorities of the Strategy are implemented. The Partnership will work towards a future in which Fareham is a greener and more sustainable Borough.
